It's happening this weekend! Clair Fall/Winter 2011 photoshoot, well part of it anyway. Sarah Giffrow and I have some fun things up our sleeves. Here's what my rack looks like right now, and that's all I'm saying until we are done playing. I'm really excited, and Sarah always makes what is going on in my imagination come out of her camera.

Fall is around the corner...
Even though I know here in Oregon we haven't gotten any of a summer. I've only been swimming once! So needless to say it's hard to focus on making Fall/Winter goodies and then samples for next Spring/Summer.
I did a first delivery of some transitional Fall items to Union Rose over the weekend. Super limited run of No Muffin Top skirts - in the pencil length. Get them while they last, vintage fabrics.

Alley 33 Fashion Show
I am so glad that I was able to participate in the Alley 33 Fashion Show this year! I'll always do a fashion show when I know Elizabeth Mollo is backstage.
Here are some links to flickr sets:
I can't wait for next year!!
If you didn't make it, take the time to look at some of the Flickr sets, and the AMAZING other local designers, whom also all manufacture locally. Full list here: Alley 33 Designer List. This is my favorite photo I have found so far, and a nice little sneak peak of Fall/Winter. (By Bettie Newell of Little Paper Cities)

Question
So Facebook fans, and Blogger readers - I have a question:
What do you think of this:
I have been sent it twice. It is a card that is for sale in a local Portland store by a gal who draws photos of everything she buys.
When I first saw it I was flattered that someone had done that. When I showed it to a few other people the reaction was mixed. One suggested I send a cease and desist letter for using my logo (poorly) without permission. A few thought it was cool.
I'm kind of a mixed bag. If she were selling this at say Target, I'd probably say something. I mean I'd for sure get in trouble for putting a Coca-Cola logo on a shirt, or printing myself as Poodle Parade Barbie on tote bags.
What do you think?
Also, I do think it odd that the shirt is drawn not as it exists. The bottom band, and armholes are just hemmed, not finished with a rib. (sorry tech nerd coming out here).
Just thought I'd share.
